WPIC Creative Labs provides world-class creative and brand strategy services to global organizations looking to succeed in APAC
Beijing, May 11, 2021 — WPIC Marketing + Technologies, the world’s leading APAC consultancy, has unveiled a brand-new creative practice, which will provide world-class content, advertising, design and brand strategy services to global organizations launching and operating in the Asia Pacific region.
Led by an industry veteran with years of in-market experience activating some of the region’s most impactful campaigns, WPIC Creative Labs will provide unparalleled creative services to global brands looking to succeed in Asia’s increasingly competitive B2B and B2C landscape.
“We’re thrilled to unveil WPIC Creative Labs, a brand-new division that will help new and existing clients succeed in Asia, by activating bold, creative campaigns that resonate with the world’s savviest consumers,” said Joseph Cooke, President and Co-founder of WPIC Marketing + Technologies. “With end-to-end solutions that now include a data sciences division, warehousing and operations capabilities, ecommerce activations, and best-in-class creative services, WPIC is the one-stop-shop for any brand looking to succeed in APAC.”
To support the launch of this new division, WPIC has appointed industry-veteran, Charles Lavoie, as Director of WPIC Creative Labs, where he will work closely with clients to help realize their ambitions in the market.
Mr. Lavoie is a veteran of the creative agency space in China, having lived in Beijing since 2012, where he developed a unique understanding of consumers in the market. Most recently, he led brand strategy for PBB Creative, working on campaigns for Acura, Bauer, Daimler, DiDi, Nestle, Paulaner and the World Bank.
“Creative campaigns that move the needle have become so crucial to succeeding in Asia, so it naturally makes sense for us to build a best-in-class creative division under the WPIC umbrella,” said Lavoie. “I’ve witnessed this firm’s impressive growth over the past 10 years, and I couldn’t be more excited to join the team.”
Mr. Lavoie will be based out of WPIC’s global headquarters in Beijing and will also be joined by client-facing brand strategists from across Canada, who have significant experience in the advertising and creative space in China, having worked on campaigns across: FMCG, cosmetics, fashion and apparel, luxury goods, consumer electronics, food and beverage, hospitality, and more.
“WPIC Creative Labs brings together some of the sharpest minds in brand strategy and creative from across North America and Asia,” Cooke said. “We’re so excited to be joined by the likes of Abigail Liu, Aaron Cho, and Snow Yu, all of whom are rock stars in this space and are going to deliver incredible results for new and existing clients.”
