Dallas, April 29, 2021 – Kibo, the leader in unified commerce, today announced that global analyst firm Forrester Research has named Kibo a Strong Performer in The Forrester Wave™: Order Management Systems, Q2 2021.

Forrester describes Kibo as “a best fit for growing digital companies that want the usability of a well-integrated portfolio of solutions.” Kibo received among the top scores in the solution architecture, product vision and innovation roadmap, delivery model and commercial model criteria. Forrester gave Kibo a score of 5 out of 5 possible points in the product vision and innovation roadmap, commercial model, delivery model and number of live installations criteria. Kibo also received the highest score in the report (4.3 out of 5) in the solution architecture criterion.

“We are thrilled to gain such positive recognition for Kibo Order Management,” said David Post, CEO at Kibo. “With cloud native microservices architecture and a roadmap that points to agility, usability and omnichannel innovation Kibo is a great choice for growing businesses of all kinds. It’s important to note that Forrester also recognized our user interface as excelling above others in the Wave. Usability is the key that unlocks the power of omnichannel order management.”

Forrester describes the importance of order management systems in the wake of the pandemic, which drove a dramatic shift in commerce behavior, “The demands of the time have forced retailers — and their OMS vendors — to innovate at an unprecedented pace: Think adding drop-shipped items to websites to quickly beef up sales, launching quick “on ramp” digital solutions, and streamlining operations to maximize strained employee bandwidth. In fact, 39% of retailers and wholesalers increased their tech spend immediately due to the pandemic.”

Forrester notes that Kibo Order Management clients have access to a “powerful omnichannel pricing and promotions engine” and “comprehensive ‘buy-online, pickup..’ tools with a user interface that excelled above all others in this evaluation.” Forrester also writes that Kibo customers “appreciate the strong tooling that supports business growth.”
