Plexus Worldwide Thrived in 2020 with New Initiatives and Over 4 Million Orders Fulfilled

Over $1.5M USD donated to nonprofits and more than 10.5M meals* to Feeding America® and Mary’s Meals**

Scottsdale, AZ, March 8, 2021 – In a year like no other, Plexus Worldwide (Plexus®), a leading direct-selling health and wellness company, fulfilled more than four million orders to customers. Plexus welcomed an astonishing 350,000 new independent business owners, also known as Ambassadors, in 2020. In addition to the company’s growth and success, Plexus exceeded the company’s 2019 philanthropic donations by nearly 80%, demonstrating that Plexus made philanthropy a priority in a year when many nonprofits were struggling.

“With a deep commitment to corporate social responsibility, our vision at Plexus is to spread health and happiness to the people in our community, across the country, and around the world,” said Alec Clark, Founder and President. “Though 2020 looked different than previous years, we were still able to give back through virtual volunteer efforts, in-kind product donations, and monetary donations to nonprofits that struggled to provide assistance to the public. I’m proud of our team members and Ambassadors for rallying around their communities and continuing to show our “One Plexus” spirit, which defines the culture of our company.”

In the Phoenix area alone, Plexus employees volunteered hundreds of hours to help nonprofits on more than 30 campaigns, with more hours donated by employees in Canada and Australia. Plexus continued to provide in-kind donations to community nonprofits,including 215 pairs of jeans and 5,000 XFactor Kids™  supplements to St. Vincent de Paul, fulfilled gifts for 50 children for the Salvation Army’s Christmas Angel Program, and donated more than 19,000 bags of Lean Meal Replacement Shakes to organizations like the Mesa Police Department and Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community Police Department, to name a few. At the end of the year, Plexus also donated 800 Breast Chek Kits, the company’s legacy product, to the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community Clinic.

In addition, through Plexus’ philanthropic efforts, hundreds of hours and $1.5M in donations were contributed to local and national nonprofits. The company’s Nourish One initiative continued their fight to help Feeding America® and Mary’s Meals connect people with nutritious food to end hunger. Through Nourish One, for every serving of Plexus Lean™  purchased, the company pledges to donate the monetary equivalent of one meal to global partners dedicated to fighting hunger. As part of that effort, Plexus donated more than 10.5 million meals to children and families across the globe. Plexus is committed to working with these organizations in the future, to end hunger.

To advance the company’s global expansion goals, Plexus Worldwide opened operations in Mexico in March 2020. In addition to company growth, nearly 20,000 Plexus Ambassadors participated in the company’s first-ever 2020 Virtual Convention, which featured an informative and fun-filled lineup of workshops, panels, and presentations designed to educate and inspire them to grow their business. To help support Ambassadors businesses, Plexus created a new way for them to run their business with the Plexus Engage App^. The app helps these independent business owners send product samples, manage their contacts and schedule reminders and automated email and push alerts that notify them when the content they shared has been viewed.

In 2020, Plexus was recognized for its commitment to their customers and team members by Direct Selling News. The company ranked Plexus #23 in their Annual Global 100 List, up seven places in global rankings from the year prior. Plexus also became a four-time winner of the Phoenix Business Journal’s Arizona Corporate Excellence Award and maintains an A+ rating as an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau. The company also became the first-ever presenting sponsor for the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park in Scottsdale, Arizona, solidifying their commitment to healthy communities and planned events for 2021.
